The blog uploads quickly. The illustration on the front page is a beautiful picture against a black background. The writer is to the point and waste no words on unnecessary communication. Would it be a nice addition to put in some information about what Manga is for us that are ignorant of this art form whatever? This could be accomplished by adding a page with explanation of Manga.  Plus there are a lot of comments that seem to be ads in and of themselves rather than constructive comments. Should these comments be edited are do they actually add something? For the most part, this is a beautiful blog that is quick and to the point.

Ah The Pain of It All.

People are copying WebByte. If they are of good reputation there is no problem. However if not that can be a problem!

Xtranormal An experiment

Hey this is worth at least five woofs and maybe more from WebByte.

WebByte just got through visiting Xtranormal.com. This is a website that makes it possible for even the dullest wanta be animator capable of making animated.

Movies can be made on Xtranormal for free. However there is a limit as to how much time allowed. Everything is done on line. No need to draw or what ever. In addition, voices can be recorded too instead of using the canned voices and sounds. There are however canned* sounds and voices. There is even online storage for the videos made. A simple click reveals links and code to embed the video into a blog like this or a web site. Pay or free movies are easily made with Xtranormal.

For more time, paid version are available.

All in all, this is a most enjoyable experience for WebByte. Animation with this online application is fun!

RE: Something New Added to Entertainment Section

A new movie has been added to the Entertainment section of WebByte. Just click on the Entertainment button above or the link here to go to the movie. Be forewarned that it opens with a commercial.

RE: Something New

There is always something new on the web. There are interesting ways to make money too.

Right now I am looking into web stores. A drop box web store is a nice idea. That way there is no worries about how to store merchandise etc.

Another way to make money is with Google AdSense. I already made some pocket change that way.

Here are some sample ads that come with Google AdSense:

Kindle Fire B0061VVO5S This is a simple link ad to Kindle Fire B006vv005S. This is not my preference because there is no information here.

Below are two examples of ads from AdSense that show a picture of the product. There first one is simply an image that is a link to the product.  The second one is a full ad. The full ad is my preference. As you will see there is more information including to which link on the web  the reader will be directed. Pretty cool, huh?




Another way to possibly make money off the web is to self publish books, music, art etc on the web. Come back to see examples of that.

Music Specialist Speaks came up when I clicked on the next button on WebByte on of my blogs on Blogger There is not much information on this blog but if you click on the ping links you can get more about how to make money in the music industry. Music Specialist Speaks apparently is a lead on to the ping links. Follow the ping links and more information is forth coming.

The blog in itself is not bad for a beginning. It could use a little more organization and polishing. The title banner is attractive and eye catching. It just takes awhile to catch onto the organization of the site.  Could this lose potential customers? Not everyone is completely literate in computer and Internet use. This is something important to thank about.

In conclusion, I know nothing about the music industry or this man Allan Johnston. A musician or singer may know him by reputation. In any case, he is interesting and the blog may be worth exploring for those in the music industry.

 Mrs. Belmont's Blog gives practical information in an almost conversational style. It also gives tidbits you do not ordinarily find. Just some common sense suggestions here. Very good reading that is worthwhile way to spend your time.

This blog is simple and yet tastefully done. An enjoyable and informative read all-in-all. Try it out if you are writing for the web.

This particular entry appears in E-How which is actually a website contain many entries about different topics. Anyone can register to submit articles about different topics.

The blog's title: The Real Blogger Status is different from the URl: http://blogging.nitecurzr.net/?expre=next-blog. A better solution is to have the URL match the blog title as much as possible. This makes the blog easier for the reader to find and remember. It is also less confusing

Outside of URL and title mismatch, this is a great blog. The colors do not distract. The information looks interesting. The writing is clear, concise and to the point. .

It is probably a good idea to limit the size of comments because some people get carried away. Doing that takes up too much space. The reader may lose interest.

One of my favs of TV shows is the Outer Limits. I thought that it was unavailable but look I found a whole bunch of new TV Listings for free on the Internet. Cool, huh? I think so.

Television is coming to the Net. I want to start a Net Television station on the Net. This television station is GP in my mind. Anyone out there in cyber space want to work with me on it?

RE: Writing for Nanowrimo

I have just about cought up with my writing for http://nanowrimo.com/. This is the contest of which I wrote some time ago. I am going to put up a word counter from there to see what it looks like.

Here is it is. I am going to try to make it a part of this site so you can keep track of how far I have to go.There's real tiny writing at the top of the graphic that tells where I am on my writing. Remember I have to get to 50,000 words by the end of November.

The contest ends on November 31 or 30, 2010. I hope to finish early. So keep track and see if I make it.

By the way have any of you checked out Nanowrimo yet? If you like to write you might like this little get together that is held each year. They are also going to have a contest in play writing right after this novel writing contest.

The only thing required to win in these contests is to be able to write the number of words by dead line. Yes you may cheat by repeating the same word over and over but that will disqualify you. So write something real that will pass for a novel.  Maybe not necessarily good but something that can be called a novel. Who knows where it will lead?

If you have not yet read this classic now is the time to do it. It is a public domain book for the Kindle reader. That means you pay nothing for the actual book. In today's economy it makes a good Christmas gift. Pride and Prejudice is considered an all time classic. It is still required reading for some literature courses in English.

RE: Critique of Cherokee Origins

Cherokee Origins by Robert Vann is a site that this writer enjoyed very much. This is a great site for numerous reasons. All links work except there seems to be a problem with the RSS comments link on the right hand side. (Maybe I just operated it wrong.) It has some great stories that are of Cherokee origin. Maybe they are Eastern Cherokee?

This site downloads fast with Road Runner. Some of the tests indicates that it downloads fast with other ISP's too. That sort of puzzles me because there is a large portrait jpg (type of graphic for web pages, etc.) of himself on the front page of the site. (I assume it is the author.) Usually large jpgs are very slow in downloading to a site. That is not the case here.

Cherokee Origins also lists Mr. Vann's books in the menu . They might be interesting to look into. This is a great idea for a site to advertise what the owner wants to sell. Many sites do this. Mr. Vann's site does it very well. 

There is just one problem WebByte has with this Cherokee Origins. As far as can be seen, it is necessary to have a WordPress Account. Even then it is difficult for this blogger to see how to leave a comment. That seems to be the only problem for the viewer. So in spite of not being able leave any comments at the present, the site is well worth the visit. This is especially true for fans of American history, American Indians, the Wild West or just someone out for a good time and a quick read.

This site is a clever piece of advertisement mixed with entertainment and information. 

Here's a thought, maybe the author will let teachers use this site to teach reading, local color in literature, culture of one American Indian Nation. Mr. Vann, the author of this site, has a contact page where permission may be asked. A link to the contact page is included in the menu at the top of the page.

This site is a very clever advertisement vehicle.

RE: An Inconvenient Truth

Why Innocent People Confess to Crimes is a site I just found. It is about innocent people confessing to crimes they did not commit. This is a growing phenomena. There are all kind of reasons for people confessing crimes. It is a developing problem.

http://sharerp.com/21 This URL takes the surfer to a site that tells a woeful story. Here's a man serving a life sentence for a crime he did not commit because the law will not permit a lawyer to tell what he knows. It has to do with client priviledge. Well I wonder if someone forgot the spirit of the law? Is law to persecuit the innocent in favor of client priviledge? Yes client priviledge is important.

I wonder if Muslim nations have considered this. People will confess to crimes they did not commit. How does Sharia fit into this? What happens when the hand or both are removed from an innocent man? What happens if an innocent is stoned to death for adultery? How often does this happen? Remember this is a discussion of Muslim nations only in this section. Not others. If the readers would like to discuss others then they can mention that they would like it discussed in another section.

If you know of an innocent person who confessed to a crime that was later cleared please mention it below.
