Exploring the Web

I am thinking of starting a section on WebSpeak Ezine that critiques web pages. People will be able to submit their opinions and to critique web pages live.

There is not much new to report. My new car is great. Runs like a dream. I just wish I could keep it clean.

It seems that people think they are anonymous on these blogs. However that is not entirely true. Blogs can be traced back to their creators. There is no such thing as a secret on the Internet. People should be careful of what they put out there on the Internet. It could hunt them forever.

WHOOPIE!

Guess what bought a new car. Debt here I come. I also have some new websites going up. One of them is a wiki. I will list them here soon.

Buying a New Car and Other Stuff.

Well I just had to buy a new car. My old one gave up the ghost. It was very hard on me to buy this car.

However, I check the Kelly's Blue Book on the internet. This gives you the basic value of vehicles. There are also some comments there from people who have bought or tried out the cars. It helps you to get a really good buy. Plus it helps you to locate the rebates, discounts, etc. You will also get a good ideal of the resell value of a car.

I settled on an Aveo. It was about all I could afford. Normally I would buy a used car. But all the good ones have been snatched up. The ones left were all used up and not worth the money.

By the way, here's a great little blog written by a very intelligent person. The writer is a lawyer none the less. She teaches law. What is this lady's name? Ann Althouse. Where does she find the time to do all of this stuff?

February 14 Happy Valentine's Day!

Feeling kind of low because we just had a big snow storm. Everything is white. In any case, the bright side about this snow storm is everything looks really clean now.

In any case, have a Happy Valentine's Day. May you be surrounded by love. I hope you all out there in computer land have as good a relationship with a significant other as I did. Although my spouse died I do appreciate the time we had together. We had fun. We did not go to bed angry at each other. We were partners. It wasn't perfect all the time by no means. But we lived with each others faults, were never violent or cruel, discussed our problems with each other. Sometimes our discussions got rather heated. We always made up and sometimes just agreed to disagree. My spouse was not the most perfect but he was the best. So this is my Valentine's wish to you. Be happy and be loving. Love will find you if you are! That is if it has not already found you. So once again Happy Valentine's Day!

I am going to try the new "Widget" thing that Blogger has now. We will see how that works.

It is a shame that we mistreat animals. However there is a valid reason to use animals for some experimentation. Or is there a valid reason? How are we to know or suspect the effects something will have on humans? How do we find cures and stuff that will help humans? Please read this blog then comment on this.

Hey are the cartoonists of the world getting morbid or what? Just wondering.

A Note to Former President Bill Clinton or Whomever It Concerns or Is Interested.

Yes I can refuse to talk to anyone I so please.

Reasons being!

1. I am old_as in senior citizen (Older than quite a few of you world leaders)
2. I can claim senility or insanity(Thanks to a certain McGinnis!).
3. I try not to be part of the problem but part of the solution.
4. It is a point of kindness for me to keep my big mouth shut right now because the words that would come out of it is not fit for human consumption.

No I do not hate you. I just am puzzled. It has been said you are an intelligent man. Well did you ever think to ask why you have been allowed to do some of the things you think you have got away with? (i.e think American Indians. Ask them why they let you get away with what you did. Better yet if you want a straight answer, ask G_D!)

Reasons why I like you.

1. Well you make me look good! Think about it.

2. Without people like you people like me would not be needed.

3. I used to feel bad because I am not smart. Least ways not as smart as you. You gave me a reason to feel good about not being smart.

4. Because of you, I learned to like myself. (I am not perfect, not smart, and I do not do things to purposely hurt people just because I can. This has nothing to do with any greatness on my part. It is just the way I was made by the author of the Bible & creator of the Universe, your sponsor and mine-G-d.

By the way, I heard you are supposed to read the Bible, not just carry it around. Do you think there is any truth to that? The beginning is a good place to start.)

What do I intend to do? Wish you well. Hope the best for you.

You see being the dummy, savage that I am I actually believe that the best way to get even is to:

1. Live life well.

2. Be kind to your enemies.

3. Pray for your enemies welfare and happiness. (Have you ever noticed happy people keep from causing major problems, running around hurting other people, etc.?

4. Do your best to be an asset. (I fall down here frequently. Be patient, please, G-d is not through with me!)

Whether you know it or not the internet is in great danger.

There are businessmen and politicians across the globe that are trying to take over the internet. They want to decide what we, the public, can do with it, what we can see on the internet etc.

There should be some limitations yeah. Such as against violent and threatening content , content that solicits youth, false advertising or scam operations. But they, businessmen and politicians should not allow us to see only that which is in their best interest.
